Information on how to reach Passau and arrive smoothly for the Vessel on the Vessel conference.
Getting to Passau
The meeting will embark from Passau, Germany, a historic town at the confluence of the Danube, Inn, and Ilz rivers.

Munich International Airport is the most convenient gateway for most participants.

- Frequent Deutsche Bahn connections
Vienna Airport (VIE)
Vienna International Airport provides an excellent alternative arrival hub.

Train Arrival
Participants should travel to Passau Hauptbahnhof (Passau Hbf), the main railway station located close to the Danube river port.
From the station, the embarkation dock is typically a short taxi ride. Detailed embarkation instructions will be sent closer to the meeting date.
Important Timing
River vessels operate on fixed navigation schedules.
The ship will not be able to delay departure for late arrivals.
Participants are therefore encouraged to:

- Arrive the day before if traveling internationally.
